That's right. Connectivity is included free of charge until 2040. You don't need to renew any services or pay any additional fees.
Does it work outside of Spain?
The NB-IoT connection is optimized for national coverage, although it can also operate on compatible networks within the EU.
Is it legal to carry a beacon without connectivity?
Only until December 31, 2025. From 2026, only connected beacons approved by the DGT will be valid.
