The connected V16 signal is the new danger pre-signaling device approved by the General Directorate of Traffic (DGT) to permanently replace emergency triangles from January 1, 2026 .
Designed to improve road safety , this beacon is placed on a broken-down or crashed vehicle without the driver having to leave the vehicle's cabin, significantly reducing the risk of being hit on the road. Thanks to its 360° visible light emission and integrated IoT connectivity , the V16 beacon can communicate the vehicle's location to the DGT (General Directorate of Traffic) in real time, triggering automatic alerts on traffic panels and road management systems.
